Jennafer L. Newman

Jennafer L. Newman, age 31 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born on December 14, 1985 in Indianapolis to Garry Newman & Lou Ann Grube-Gentry. Jennafer was a 2004 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School where she participated in musical and drama productions. She was a member of the track team and the award-winning cheerleading squad. Jennafer was passionate about gymnastics as both a participant and coach. She won numerous competitions including age-group state championships. She lived and worked in Santa Anna, California for several years where she was the General Manager of a Golf Course of America facility. In California, she loved spending days walking on the beach, surfing, and swimming in the ocean. She enjoyed camping in the mountains and became an avid and accomplished snowboarder. When she returned to Indiana, Jenna re-kindled her interest in music, photography, and videography. She was the founder of You Got This Productions. As a producer, she created virtual reality sports training videos, music videos, and tourism promotion projects. Jennafers thoughts and prayers for her friends and family were always on her mind. Her spirit will be sorely missed. Surviving Jennafer is her father, Garry Newman of Indianapolis; brother, Jason Newman of Indianapolis; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Preceding Jennafer in death is her mother listed above. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, April 13, 2017 also at the funeral home.
