Jerry R. Churchill

Jerry R. Churchill, age 77 of Greenfield passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. He was born April 2, 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Jerry was a graduate of Wright City High School in Missouri and later attended the Missouri School of Mining and Metallurgy. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves, attended St. Michael Catholic Church and prior to his retirement in 1999 he spent his life working in industrial sales. Jerry was also a former member of the Greenfield Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Ann Churchill of Greenfield; children; Gregory (Jill) Churchill of West Lafayette, IN; Glenn (Lynn) Churchill, and Sandra Phelps both of Greenfield; father, Glen Gaskin Sr. of Warrenton, MO; brother, Glen Gaskin of Rancho Mirage, California; and his 6 grandchildren, Joe Churchill, Megan Churchill, Jake Churchill, Josh Phelps, Cole Churchill, and Christoper Churchill. Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Elaine V. (McEwen) Gaskin and sister; Linda Casner. Friends may call from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenfield, 519 Jefferson Blvd. Greenfield, IN 46140 with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
