Jesse M. Price

Jesse M. Price, age 99, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully July 4, 2023 at Arlington Place Health Campus, Indianapolis. He was born April 8, 1924, in Glade Spring, Virginia to the late Smith and Maggie (Reynolds) Price.

Jesse was a loving, caring man who adored his family. He served his country as a machine operator in the United States Navy from 1943-1946. During World War II, he served on several ships and earned commendations for bravery and meritorious conduct. After his service in the military, he enjoyed a long successful career in the electrical industry. He retired after 39 years with Automatic Switch Company of Emerson Electric, Florham Park, New Jersey. Jesse was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Indianapolis. He is remembered as a man who lived a full life and enjoyed living.

Jesse is survived by six children, Paul, Jim, Kevin, Patty, Susie, and Helen; brother, Franklin D. Price; niece, Barb (Don) Andry; and cousin, Elizabeth (Carl) Wemple. He is preceded in death by his parents, listed above; and his beloved wife, Helen Price.

A private burial will be at Orchard Hill Cemetery In Wanamaker, Indiana.
