Jim Minchin

James A. "Jim" Minchin, age 61, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2018 in Greenfield. He was born on January 26, 1957 in Indianapolis to the late James and Betty (Ransone) Minchin. Jim graduated from New Palestine High School in 1975. He married the love of his life, Fawn Meek on August 21, 1990. Jim enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley, spending time with his buddies, but most of all spending time with his precious grandchildren. Left to cherish Jim's memory is his wife, Fawn Minchin of Greenfield; son, Jimmy (Brittney) Minchin of New Palestine; daughters, Kendra (Michael) Ball of Greenfield; Cassy Tomey of Noblesville; Danielle (Shane) Benefiel of Pendleton; brother, Rex (Laura) Minchin of Corydon; sister, Joy (Mike) Price of Clermont, FL; grandchildren, Kalob, Aiden, Hayden, Cerenity, Brantley, Liam, Kayla, and Blakely. Preceding Jim in death are his parents mentioned above. Visitation for Jim will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Philadelphia Church Cemetery.
