Jimmy E. Woods, Sr.

Jimmy E. Woods, Sr. age 71, of Greenfield, passed away June 30, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield. He was born August 5, 1943 in Williamsburg, KY to the late Rueben Huddleston and Susie Woods. He was an ASE certified master mechanic with several automotive dealerships during his life and served in the US Air Force for a short period. Jimmy attended Bethel Baptist Church, Greenfield, enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and loved tractors. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Mallie (Sexton) Woods of Greenfield whom he married on June 13, 1964, son, Jimmy E. Wood, Jr. of Indianapolis, daughter; Teresa Woods of Indianapolis, brothers, Wayne Huddleston of Corbin, KY, Donnie Huddleston of Williamsburg, KY, sisters, Narva Lee Bryant of Williamsburg, KY, Shirley (John) Morgan of Corbin, KY, Sharon Jones of Cincinnati, OH, Carolyn Mahan of Indianapolis, Margaret Campbell of Summerset, KY and son-in-law; Greg Willis of Indianapolis. He was preceded by his parents listed above, brothers; Bob Woods and Samuel Huddleston, sisters; Margie Sexton and Betty Jack. Friends may call on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday July 6, 2015 at the funeral home.
