Joanne (Herald) Frost

Joanne (Herald) Frost, 76, Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Joanne was born on June 20, 1948, in Indianapolis, to James Edward and Ruth Mae (Clark) Herald. She attended Westfield High School. Joanne married Garland Lee Frost on January 8, 1971. Together, they recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.

Joanne worked as a picker at Simon & Schuster publishing warehouse for 10+ years. She enjoyed camping, keeping a clean house, and playing computer games. She loved spending quality time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Joanne and Garland attended Baptist Temple Church in Greenfield.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Garland; their children, Rob (Karla) Frost and Melissa (Kenny) Cox; 10 grandchildren: Amanda, Bryan, Brandon, twins Paige and Robby, Joanna, Mandy, Paula, Emiliana, and Brielle; great-granddaughter, Delaneigh; and siblings: Bob (Judy), Jerry (Linda), David, Danny Kathy), Mary Lou (Jack), Larry (Kathy), Ricky, Carolyn (Glenn), Sandy, and Rebecca. Sister n'law Linda (Chuck). Several neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald; and sister, Sharon.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. The service will be the following day, Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Tony Oliver. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
