John Michael Breece

John Michael Breece September 1, 1960 - November 25, 2007 John "Mike" Breece, 47, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born September 1, 1960 in Hancock County to Flossie (Brown) Dodd and the late John E. Breece. He was a member of the Army National Guard; enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid video game player. He was formerly employed with Crates and Pallets or Fountaintown and formerly worked as an auto detailer with Perks Carwash. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn J. (Cummings) Breece of Greenfield; two daughters, Angela N. (Jason) Hager of Knightstown and Alisha M. (David) Stapleton of Greenfield; mother, Flossie Dodd; step-mother, Ada Breece of Greenfield; four brothers, Edward Breece of Greenfield, Larry Breece of Wilkinson, Jessie Carlin of Wilkinson, and Bud Passmore of Montana; three sisters, Becky (Bobby) Carroll of Wilkinson, Laura K. Breece of Greenfield, and Joan (Breece) Duffy of Greenfield; two step-brothers, Bill Dodd of Anderson and AJ Dodd of Huntinsburg, In; three step-sisters, Tilynn Stevenson of Muncie, Marleena Jones of Belpens, In, Tona Golob of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Nova N. Hager and Johnathan T. Hager; mother-in-law, Florence Cummings; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Ronald Breece. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor William Beauchat officiating. Burial will follow at Currys Chapel Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
