John Copeland

John A. Copeland, age 83, of Greenfield passed away, Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Cypress Run, Morristown. He was born February 21, 1936 in New Palestine, IN to the late Alford and Rhoda (Kincaid) Copeland. John graduated from New Palestine High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960 during the Korean War. He married Mildred (Hall) on August 5, 1961. John retired in 1996 from Navistar International after a 41-year career. He is survived by his wife Mildred; son, Jeffrey (Angie) Copeland; daughters, Jennifer (Ed) Richards and Beverly (Carl) Coffey; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Friends may call Wednesday July 31, 2019 from 4:00 8:00 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Service, 10 am, August 1, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Wickham. Burial with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
