John Rodriguez

John P. Rodriguez, age 74 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home. He was born February 5, 1944 in Coffeyville, KS to the late Jose and Manula (Mendoza) Rodriguez. After high school John attended college and served in the US Air Force where he was assigned to the 835th Security Police Squad. Prior to his retirement in 2005 John was a pipe fitter and engineer with Exxon Mobil. He married Linda (Butler) Rodriguez on August 31, 1993 and they resided in Greenfield for the past several years. John loved dancing and playing pool. He was a member of the American Legion in Beaumont, TX where he formerly served as Commander. John is survived by his wife Linda; children, Brian Rodriguez, Angie (John) Drouillard, Paula (Phil) Piffley; step children, Star Raia, Mark (Kimberly) Powell, Robin (John) Schmidt, Aaron (Kimberly) Powell; brother, Tony (Debbie) Rodriguez; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Friends may call Thursday, October 18 from 4-8 pm PM, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral service will be 12 PM, Friday, October 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial immediately following at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indiana.
