John Edward Sipes April 8, 1928 - May 5, 2011 John Edward Sipes, 83, a resident of Port Saint Lucie, FL, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice, in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born April 8, 1928 in Crawfordsville, IN to the late George and Nora (White) Sipes. John served in the U.S. Navy, was a Journeyman Carpenter and avid builder throughout his life. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mildred (Belisle) Sipes of Port Saint Lucie, FL; son, Ralph Sipes of Anderson, IN; daughters, Kathy George of Taylor, SC; Judy Schoger of Anderson, IN; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, with military rites to be held at the end of the service. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Comments Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
