Joseph L. Andrews

Joseph L. Andrews, 76 of Greenfield passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospice. He was born February 19, 1939 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late George and Margaret (Holland) Andrews. Joseph was a graduate of Cathedral High School and served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring after a 36 year career he was a Layout Operator for Western Electric & Lucent. In his retirement Joseph enjoyed flower gardening, riding his bicycle and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years Betty (Cross) Andrews of Greenfield, children; Robert Andrews, Phillip Andrews and Melissa (Shane) Davis all of Greenfield, brothers; George Andrews of Beech Grove, Thad Andrews of Greenwood, grandchildren; Shawn, Christina, Kasey, Tatum, Ethan, Miley , Elijah and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister; Ellen OBrien. Friends may call 5-7 pm, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 513 North Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield with Father Joseph Reidmann officiating. Burial will follow Mass at Park Cemetery, Greenfield with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
