Joseph F. Jack, 81 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born on January 11, 1936 in Greenfield to the late Joseph & Cora (Cass) Jack.
Joseph graduated from the Indiana Soldiers & Sailors High School in Knightstown in 1956 and married the love of his life, Mary (Sanders) Jack on November 3, 1956. Joseph spent his career as a local mechanic in Greenfield and at Delco-Remy in Anderson until his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars; riding motorcycles and was a member of the Harley Owners Group.
Surviving Joseph is his wife, Mary Jack of Greenfield; son, Justin Jack of Shirley; daughters, Darlene (Jim) Hoff of South Carolina; Cynthia Jack of Greenfield; brothers, Roland and Max Jack both of Greenfield; sisters, Wilma Lively of Greenfield; Judy Kingsbury of Greencastle; Sharon of Boonville; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren with one currently on the way.
Preceding Joseph in death are his parents mentioned above; brother, James Jack; and sister, Nancy.
Friends may visit from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Van Camp from Trinity Park U.M.C. officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Lebanon U.M.C. Cemetery in Greenfield.
