Joseph H Plowdrey

Joseph H. Plowdrey September 20, 1939 - June 14, 2008 Joseph H. Plowdrey, 68 of Greenfield passed June 14th, 2008 at his residence. He was born September 20, 1939 in Saginaw, MI to the late Joseph R. Plowdrey and Mabel Hausbeck-Gilsdorf. Mr. Plowdrey served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas and participated in the Operation Desert Strike and served some time in Germany. Joseph spent most of his free time riding his scooter, hunting for arrow heads, fishing with his grandsons and talking to his friends on his C.B. radio. He is survived by son Joseph (Jodee) Plowdrey of Knightstown, daughter, Karen (Mark) Taylor of Greenfield, sister Pat Creamer of Greenfield and Grandchildren, Heather Thompson of Greenwood, Robert Watts of Greenfield, and Joey and Andy Plowdrey of Knightstown. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Glen Gilsdorf. Graveside Service will be Thursday, June 19th at 12:00 P.M. at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
