Joseph "Joe" Reigel April 22, 1936 - February 4, 2013 Joseph M. "Joe" Reigel, 76 of Greenfield passed away Monday, February 04, 2013 at his home. Joe was born April 22, 1936 in Parke County, Indiana to the late Wesley A. and Hazel L. (Bly) Reigel. Joe served with the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #416, the Moose Lodge both in California. He was an avid golfer and former softball coach. He also sold cars on a part time basis after his retirement in 1993 from the U.S. Postal Service. Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Joan (Cooney)Reigel of Greenfield, sons; Larry (Debra) Reigel of California, Daniel W. (Sue) Mize and Stephen (Margaret) Mize all of Greenfield, daughters; Norma Jean (James) Halcomb of Greenfield and Mary (Steven) Shepherd of New Palestine, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers; Wesley Reigel,Bob Reigel, Alan Reigel and Paul Reigel, sisters; Toni Moore, Inez Bales and Martha Reigel and one great grandchild, Derrick Lee Mize. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
