Joseph Frederick Sherman

Joseph Frederick Sherman, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Joe was born on October 13, 1953 in Boston, MA the only child to the late William F. and Helen (Armentrout) Sherman. Joe was a pipe fitter for Local 669 for many years. He happily retired to spend more quality time with his family and grandchildren, as well as tinker around the house. He also cheered on the Boston Red Sox. Joe is survived by the love of his life, Pennie Shildmyer; children: Katie (Michael) Slou, Adam (Kari) Sherman, Pam (Matt) Parsons, and Nick (Mallory) Shildmyer; and awesome grandchildren: Logan, Taylor, Brodie, Hayden, A.J., Mason, Rory, Fisk, and Brantley. Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, has been honored to assist the family during this very difficult loss. All matters will be kept private to the family.
