Joyce Marlene Moss Nicholson November 26, 1939 - January 15, 2015 Joyce Marlene Moss Nicholson, 75, has passed from us, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield, Indiana. Joyce was born on November 26, 1939 to the late Lola (Martin) and Dale Snodgrass at Greenfield Regional Hospital. She attended Greenfield Schools. She was married to David Orville Nicholson for 55 years before his passing. They attended Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church in Greenfield, and raised five children together. Joyce was a book keeper and a homemaker. She is remembered by her immediate charm and hospitality. She was as resourceful and efficient in business as she was caring and dedicated to her family. Joyce enjoyed beautiful things and the company of her loved ones. Joyce is survived by her children, Jason (Misty) Nicholson, Jane Nicholson, Joy VanAlst, and Julie (August Bondi) Lopez; her siblings, Gary Moss and Judy Truscott; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, whom loving called her Grammy Joyce. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; and a daughter, Deborah Rose. A public visitation for Joyce will be on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2-6PM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 19 at 1PM with burial to follow at Park Cemetery.
