Joyce Ann (Roberts) Montgomery

Joyce Ann (Roberts) Montgomery, 76, Greenfield, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Joyce was born on July 23, 1948, in Rushville, IN, to Millard Columbus and Ruth Mae (Vest) Roberts. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Eugene Montgomery, on April 27, 1969.

Joyce was a very loveable woman. She loved to collect angels, decorate cakes, crotchet, and watch hummingbirds. Her best asset was being a strong and dedicated pilar for her family. She surrounded her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with warmth, knowledge, love, and purpose. She and Kenneth attended church at Park Chapel. Joyce worked as a baker and deli clerk for Marsh and the Holiday Inn, both in Greenfield, for many years, retiring in 2019.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Tracy Bocock and Kim (Tony) Trigoso; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Brenda Roberts, Linda Mathews, and Mary Montgomery; several nieces and nephews; and honorary son, Tim Goike.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Kenneth Eugene Montgomery of 52 years; son, Kenneth R. Montgomery; great-granddaughter, Ellyson Hinshaw; and brother, Jack Roberts.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, with the service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. with her nephew, Mark Mathews officiating.
