Joyce Nana Smith

Joyce M. "Nana" Smith, age 94, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Greenfield Health Care. She was born on July 22, 1923, in Stocksbridge, Yorkshire England to the late Victor and Mary (Brooks) Rodgers. Joyce lived her life for family. She enjoyed gardening and organizing, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren. She was called the "Grandmother of Grandmothers. She married the love of her life John, on October 15, 1945. Left to cherish Joyces memory is a son, David (Kathy) Smith; daughters, Linda Rust and Vicki (Richard) Hood ; 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great- Grandchildren and 2 Great- Great- Grandchildren. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Mary, as well as, her husband, John. Stillinger Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Currently there are no services for Joyce.
