Juanita L. Slack September 30, 1927 - August 6, 2012 Juanita L. Slack, 84, formally of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Plainfield Healthcare Center in Plainfield. She was born on September 30, 1927, in Greenfield, Ind., the daughter of the late Marion & Thedoshia (Crawford) Maynard. She was a homemaker and head waitress for the Heather Hills Country Club. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her sons, Clarence (Ramona) Ward of Indianapolis, William Slack of Indianapolis, Ronnie White of New Castle, David Shakelford of Fortville, James Slack, daughters, Shirley Fippin of Greenfield, Sharon Sonnenburg of Lebanon, Tenn., Loretta Trabue of Indianapolis, Shelia Bridgeman of New Castle, sister Betty Reeder of Morristown, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Samuel Slack in 1982, daughter, Linda Stephenson and sister, Ruth Miller. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday August 10, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown.
