Kathleen Jamell

Kathleen Jamell, 69, Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Kathleen was born on May 28, 1954, in Dayton, KY, to Fred and Ermon (Scales) Jamell. She is a 1970 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School.

Kathleen was a good Christian woman and loved going to church. She attended Victory Life. She was kind, gentle, and knew no stranger. She was an avid reader and loved animals. Kathleen worked for many years at Knobby's Restaurant in Indianapolis.

Kathleen is survived by her loving siblings: Donald (Diane) Jamell, Betty (Jack) Wesley, Robert (Angie) Jamell, Fred Jamell, Jr, and Elizabeth (Estill) Wesley; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and beloved cat, Mia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carol Snider and Sheila Marshall; and nephew, Bud Wesley.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Park Cemetery.
