Kathryn Kay Wesner

Kathryn "Kay" Wesner, age 84 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born May 18, 1934 in Robinson, IL to the late William Gibson and Margaret (Deirdorf) Kent. Kay was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She was a friend to everyone and always enjoyed fishing, Miller Lite, friends and her "crew" at the VFW and Legions. She was a 50-year member of The American Legion and VFWs Auxiliaries, the 40 & 8 and was the 1986 National President of Le Femmes. Prior to her retirement in the early 1990s, Kay was employed by RCA in Indianapolis. She is survived by her sons, Alan (Glenna) Wesner of Greenfield, Robert (Tina) Wesner of Foley, AL; sisters, Betty Ferrel and Billie Poland; and several grandchildren and great and Great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph "Red" Wesner in 2014 and daughters, Kathy Medlin and Debbie Colwell. Friends may call 4-8 pm, Monday, April 15, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service 10 am, Tuesday, April 16th at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Wickham officiating. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
