Keith Martin Hooton

Keith Martin Hooton November 26, 1939 - July 4, 2009 Keith Martin Hooton, 69, a long time resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday July 4, 2009 in his home in Texas. He was born November 26, 1939 in Gary, Indiana to the late Clifford F. Hooton and Florence M. (Martin) Hooton Hunt. Keith was a 1957 graduate of Greenfield High School. He received a Bachelors Degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and then joined the United States Navy. He went on to receive a Masters in Education at Ball State University, was with the Untied States Secret Service, and then taught High School for many years in Illinois and Indiana. He also worked for several years in the trucking industry. He is survived by his daughter Tara M. (Hooton) Schoenfeld of Libertyville, IL; daughter Kara L. (Hooton) Rominski of DeKalb, IL; daughter Tanya M. Hooton of South Korea; son Kyle C. Hooton of Greenfield, IN; and 4 grandchildren, Ethan, Teagan, Jeremy and Emma. Gravside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Saturday morning, July 18, 2009 from 9:00am until 10:30am at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Comments I do remember Keith, quiet. So glad to read that he had a very rewarding life with family and career. At this time in life, we sometimes wish we knew all of our " classmates better. My thoughts are with you all.
