Kenneth Lee Pope August 20, 1935 - March 21, 2010 Kenneth Lee Pope, 74, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Community East Hospital. He was born August 20, 1935 in Hancock County to the late Everett Irving and Mary Gladis (Collingwood) Pope. Kenneth was a graduate of Eden High School, served his country in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Willow Branch United Methodist Church and the Moose Lodge. He was a farmer, truck driver and race car driver. He is survived by his wife, Judie Pope of Greenfield; sons, James Anthony Pope of Denison, TX, David Randall Pope of Rockport, LA, Terry Dean Pope of Denison, TX; Richard Thomas Sells of Carthage, IN; daughter, Sheryl Lee (Mike) Benoist of Indianapolis; Tammie Marie Wooten of Greenfield; grandsons, Kenneth Lee Basey, Carl O. Basey, Jr., Keith S. Basey, David Randall Pope, Richard Thomas Sells, Jr., Brian Thomas Sells; granddaughters, Candy A. Guthrie, Krystal Basey, Carissa Basey, Brittan Pope, Misty Marie Wooten, Shyenne Marie Johnson, Cierra Marie Johnson, Amber Nicol Sells. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 at Regency Place Nursing Home, 200 W. Green Meadows Drive, Greenfield, IN 46140. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, of Greenfield.
