Larry Joe Felix December 7, 1941 - May 8, 2010
Larry Joe Felix, 68, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Hancock Regional Hospital.
He was born December 7, 1941 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Joseph C. and Mary L. (Downham) Felix.
Larry was a 1960 graduate of Delphi High School, obtained a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Indianapolis in 1985 and served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a computer analyst for Delta Faucet for 18 years, was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church and the Greenfield American Legion #119. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carmen Felix of Greenfield; daughters, Angie (Russell) Chaffee of New Palestine, Andrea (Scott) McAlister of Greenfield; grandchildren, Taylor Felix, Lucas and Emma McAlister, Hunter and Lizzie Chaffee; brother, George Felix of South Carolina; sister, Joyce (Bob) Kenworthy of Delphi, IN.
He was preceded in death by a son, Tony Felix.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will follow at a later date. Friends may call Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Comments Carmen and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. While you may not remember me from my years at Farmers Ins, I remember you, and my heart goes out " to you all now. I'll be praying for peace, comfort and strength now, and in the days and months to come! May you find comfort in some small way that Larry and Tony are together again after all these years. So sorry to hear about Larry. Weall grew up togeather. He was a Great Roll model, when we were Kids. We all looked up to him. Will miss him, and have thought of him " many times over the years. Don Wells
