Laura S. Bradley July 13, 1922 - December 6, 2008 Laura S. Bradley, 86, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Golden Living Center, Brandywine. She was born July 13, 1922 in Bakersfield, CA and was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary Agnes (Polkinghorne) Smith. Laura was a 1940 graduate of Kern County Union High School in Bakersfield, CA. In November of 1952 she married Virgil E. Bradley and lived all their married life in Hancock County. She had delivered the Daily Reporter for 21 years in North Eastern Hancock County. She is survived by a son, John W. Bradley of Greenfield; step-daughter, Carol Bradley of Anderson; two step granddaughters and three step grandsons; several nieces and nephews and step great-grandchildren. Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil in 1984 and several brothers and sisters. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Simmons Cemetery, Hancock County with Pastor Joe Merriman officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Susan G.
