Laura Sharon (Edwards) Love

Laura "Sharon" (Edwards) Love, 85, Greenfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on December 27, 2021. Sharon was born on June 8, 1936, in Winchester, Indiana, to Rowe Dedrick and Gladys Juanita (Pugh) Edwards. She is a 1954 graduate of Winchester High School. She married the love of her life, William C. Love on September 14, 1958. Sharon worked as a food service director for Greenfield Central School Systems for many years before retiring in 1995. She was a longtime member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling after retirement, reading, completing crossword puzzles, and playing card games such as pinochle and euchre. Sharon's greatest joy in life was her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her loving children: David Love, Catherine (Jeff) Bell, and Tracey (Rod) Payne; 7 amazing grandchildren: Zack Love, Sarah Shortridge, Abby Sutterfield, Lindsay Muffler, Ashley Holmes, Jordan Bell, and Josh Payne; and 13 adorable great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William of 50 years; and brothers, Noel Edwards and Larry Edwards. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend's Mike Manning and Larry VanCamp. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
