Laura E Spoor

Laura E. Spoor September 30, 1918 - November 6, 2006 Laura E. Spoor, 88, of Greenfield passed away November 6, 2006 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born September 30, 1918 in Monticello, IN to the late Harry and Lillie (Newby) Foreman. She worked at Union Federal Savings Bank of Indianapolis, managed the Carson Best Western of Remington, and was the owner of Modernaire Shoe Store in Monticello. She was a member of Crystal Chapter O.E.S. of Monticello for 50 years, Rho Chapter of Sigma Beta Sorority, and attended Bradley United Methodist Church. She is survived by daughter, Jonnie Fletcher of Greenfield; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Betty Lou Cagle; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral service will at 12:30 P.M. November 10, 2006 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery, Monticello at 3:30 P.M. Friends may call November 9, 2006 from 4-8 at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
