Lawrence "Bean" Conley March 1, 1945 - November 27, 2007
Lawrence "Bean" Conley, 62, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1945 in Rushville, In to the late Donald and Laura (McCles) Conley.
He was currently employed with Roll Coater of Greenfield as a Waste Treatment Operator for over 40 years, served in the US Army, was a member of the U.A.W. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Pacers and IU Basketball fan.
He is survived by a daughter Paula (Darrin) Couch of Wilkinson; son, Shannon Conley of Michigan; daughter-in-law, Robin Conley, five grandchildren, one great grandson; brothers, Chuck Conley of CA, Robert Conley of Shirley; sisters, Rose Robinette of Greenfield, Aletta Andis of Indianapolis, Learl Cook of Carthage, Martha Gordon of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Conley; sons, Mike and Karl Conley; brothers, Benny, Bill, and Benjermin Conley.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor Danny Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield with military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
