Leda Jo Leary

Leda Jo Leary, age 78 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospice. She was born December 4, 1937 in Illinois to the late Donald and Katherine (Harrelson) Fink. Leda had a distinguished career as a Deputy Assessor of Center Township for 39 years. She also worked for Fort Harrison Finance Center for 7 years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic minister. She was also a member of numerous organizations including the Red Hat Dollies, Lilac Club, Rosary Guild, Solidarity Club, and a bible study group. Leda was an avid reader, crochet enthusiast, and also made rosaries. She is survived by her son Stephen Leary of Greenfield, daughter Julie (Jeff) Heichel of Michigan, sisters, Violet Day of Illinois, Anne Dillard of Greenfield, nephew Ricky (Inez) Fink of Greenfield, grandchildren Justin (Bethany) Leary, Amanda (Ryan) Brittain, Dan Heichel, James Heichel and 1 great-grandson, Jeremy. Preceding her in death are her parents, and her brothers; Billy R. Fink and Michael S. Reynolds Friends may call from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Burial will immediately follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
