Lenora Pugh July 21, 1929 - June 8, 2008 Lenora (Eakin) Pugh, 78, a resident of Greenfield and Brooksville, Florida passed away Sunday, June 08, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 21, 1929 in Hancock County to the late D. Ray and Winifred (Kelly) Eakin. Lenora worked at Hancock Bank and Trust and co-managed the Greenfield Country Club alongside her husband. She was a longtime member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield, where she served on the first school board and as President of the CCW Ladies Club, and St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Brooksville, FL. She is survived by sons ; D. Michael (Loralee) of Eugene, Oregon, Larry D. (Beverly) of New Albany, Christopher A. (Judy) of Lewiston, Maine, Brian R. (Lorrie) of Columbia City, IN; daughters, Sharon (Dennis) VanOrnum of Floyds Knob, IN, Pamela (Richard) Stanley of Greenfield, Theresa Meyer of New Albany, IN, Maureen Holland of Indianapolis, Cynthia (Dan) Kisenko of New Palestine; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Eakin of Greenfield; sister, Laura (Jack) Carter of Louisville. She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer R. Pugh, 2002; brothers, Charles, Emmett, and Basil Eakin; sister, Mary Lou Bednarski. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield with Father Severin Messick officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Hancock Regional Hospice, 801 N. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 or to the charity of the donors choice.
