Linda J. Johnson September 27, 1931 - November 28, 2008 Linda J. Johnson, 77, a resident of Indianapolis, formerly of Greenfield and Shirley, passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at her residence. She was born September 27, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Pearl Wilhoit Gray and Charles Pollard. She was an avid gardener and an award-winning China painter. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, James F. Johnson; sons, Donald, Steven, Timothy and Joseph Wright; step-daughter, Kathleen Johnson Young; brother, Richard Pollard; sisters, Norma Kitchin Schwendenmann and Sandra Pritchett; six grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-great granddaughters; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Pollard and grandson, Wesley Wright. Friends may call Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Private funeral service will be held at a later date.
