Linda C Townsend

Linda C. Townsend May 27, 1944 - September 2, 2012 Linda C. (Holliday) Townsend age 68 passed away on September 2, 2012 at Sugar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born May 27, 1944 to the late Paul Bates Holliday and Dorothy (Spegal) Holliday, she was employed at Greenfield and Eden Schools as a custodian and also worked for Regency Place Nursing Home. She retired in 2009. She was a Campfire girl leader and dearly loved to crochet, garden, cook and spend time watching NASCAR, as she was an avid fan. Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Norman, Marion (Bud), Richard and Paul Jr. (Butch) Holliday, and one son Greg Webster. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Townsend, sons Scott (Karen) Webster of Morristown and Paul Charles Webster of Greenfield, and her daughter Amy (Andy) Hodge of Greenfield. Her brothers Gene Holliday of Greenfield and Steve Holliday of Greenwood, two sisters, Mary Ruth Barnhart and Sue Holmes both of Greenfield, grandchildren, Emily and Colten Webster, and several nieces and nephews are also surviving. Services are 1:00 p.m. Friday September 7, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel Greenfield, IN, with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday September 6 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimers Association in the memory of Mrs. Townsend
