Lloyd Benjamin Weber February 8, 1927 - October 14, 2006
Lloyd Benjamin "Buddy" Weber, 79, of Greenfield passed away Saturday October 14, 2006 at Regency Place Healthcare Center, Greenfield.
He was born February 8, 1927 in Russell, Ark. to the late Ben A. and Oca (McKee) Weber.
He was a self-employed drywall subcontractor for over 30 years and formerly employed by Eli Lilly & Company and International Harvester. Mr. Weber served in the U. S. Army as a staff sergeant during World War II, attended Faith Apostolic Church of Greenfield, member of the Greenfield Eagles, American Legion Post 119, an avid gardener, fisherman, and camper.
He is survived by wife, Darlene (Schuyler) Weber of Greenfield, whom he married August 9, 1947; daughters, Diana (Mike) Walls of Maxwell, Teresa (Raymond) Kiner of Greenfield; brothers, Harold Weber of Greenfield, David Weber of Middletown; sisters, Patty Schuck, Barbara Griffith both of Greenfield; eight grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marcia Hacker in 2003; brother, Doyle Weber; sister, Pauline Weber and great grandchild, Taz Smith.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Park Cemetery, Greenfield, with Pastor John Reading officiating. Military honors will be provided by Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements are being handled by Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
