Comments Loren and his wife, Elenora, were like aunt and uncle to me and my sister, Linda. Elenora was first cousin to my father, Lowell Harlan, and she introduced him to our " mother, Winifred (Connie). We were a military family, visiting Indiana each summer (or every 3 years if overseas). We would always stop and visit Elenora & Loren, and their girls, Myra and Nancy. It was always fun to go out to their farm outside of Greenfield. My sister and I have many, many found memories of Loren.
My wife, Shirley, thought a lot of Loren. She enjoyed visiting Loren and Elenora and also whenever they came to visit us and their grandchildren who moved to Oklahoma).
Loren was a proud veteran of the Army, but did not boast about it.
Loren was a very fine man. We will miss him.

It was a great pleasure knowning Loren, enjoying talks about his war years and life in general. He sure lived a full life in God's grace. " We pray to give courge and faith to those who are bereaved, that they may have the strength to meet the days ahead in the comfort of a reasonable and holy hope, in the joyful expectation of eternal life with those they love. AMEN
