Loren E. Stanley, age 72 of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born November 17, 1942 in Connersville, IN to the late Max E. and Wilma (Dudley) Stanley of Knightstown.
He was a graduate of Connersville High School, attended Ball State University and retired from Now, Inc., Dallas, Tx. in December 2005 as a commercial metal siding manager. He was a member of the Geist Christian Church, Past-President of the Connersville Lions Club, a former member of the Jaycees and an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine (Callaway) Stanley of Greenfield, sons, Douglas (Kathy) Stanley of Pittsburgh, Penn., Timothy (Kelly) Stanley of Crawfordsville, step-son, Charles(Kelly) Portman of Barnesville, Ohio, step-daughter, Kathryn Portman of West Palm Beach,FL, brother, Kenneth (Jean) Stanley of Rushville, sister, Marianne (Dennis) Gergely of Indianapolis and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August, 16, 2015 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 at Geist Christian Church, 8550 Mud Creek Road, Indianapolis, in 46256. A 2:00 pm burial will follow at Dale Cemetery, 801 N. Gregg Road, Connersville, Ind.
