Lottie M Matherly

Lottie M. Matherly, age 90 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Golden Living Center, Brandywine in Greenfield. She was born on March 18, 1925 in Missouri to the late Elvis J. and Ollie C. (Jordan) Henson. Lottie was a homemaker for most of her life and also worked for Real Silk making parachutes during WWII. Lottie attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Lottie also was an avid quilter, gardener, and cherished spending time with her family. Lottie is survived by her daughters, Shirley VeHorn of Greenfield, Sondra Dalton of Madison, WI, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Elvin who passed away in 1999, son, Gary M. Matherly, daughter, Donna J. Hughes, 7 brothers, and 1 sister. Friends may call on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. Private family burial will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. The family would like to personally thank the staff at Golden Living Center, Brandywine for taking such wonderful care of Lottie.
