Louise (Dunkle) Miller, 98, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Indianapolis. She was born on July 30, 1923 in Salem, NJ to Frank A. and Hazel (Tomlinson) Dunkle. She married her love, James E. Miller on May 9, 1945.
Louise was at least a 60 year resident of Greenfield. Louise was the owner/operator of her own hair salon for many years. She loved her home, family, and God. Louise and James would often greet the neighbors as they passed by their home. She attended Greenfield Christian Church for many years and was very active in their Ladies Circle. Louise was also members of the American Legion Auxiliary Group as well as the Ladies of the Elks.
She is survived by her children: Suzanne (Jan) Koontz and Ernest "Bud" (Kathy Curtis-Miller) Miller; grandson, Jason Miller; great-grandchildren: Annie Miller and Peyton Miller; and nephew, Ricky Bourguoies.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Miller; and sister, Betty Jean Bourguoies.
Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, has been honored to assist the Dunkle/Miller/Koontz families. A private burial will take place in the future as family gathers to remember Louise.
