Loyd Jones

Loyd Jones, age 85, of Greenfield passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born September 3, 1934 in Horselick Holler, KY to the late Willie and Edna Marie (Mullins) Jones. Prior to his retirement in 1991 Loyd enjoyed a 33-year career with Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed fishing, yard sales and conversations with friends. He was a regular at the Sweet Shop on Tuesday mornings with his buddies from Ford. He was a long-time member of the Hancock Masonic Lodge #101, The Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Knights Templar. Loyd is survived by his children, Kathy (Jeff) McHenry, Becky Davis, Connie (John) Atkinson, Greg Jones and Linda (Danny Weaver) Lingenfelter; brothers, Alvin Jones, Ed Jones; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Frances Jones; son, Thomas Jones; and siblings, Fred Jones and Mary Scarce.
