Lucille Micinski of South Bend, IN and recently of Greenfield, IN passed away Thursday morning January 11, 2018 in the Greenfield Heath Care Center. Lucille was born on February 12, 1928 in South Bend, a daughter of the late Victor and Mary (Jaskowiak) Rogowski. She grew up in South Bend where she belonged to St. Adalbert Catholic Church. On May 26, 1950, she married Eugene Micinski who preceded her in death.
Lucille was an active member of her church and enjoyed working with others at various locations including Dainty Maid Bakery and as a Wal-Mart greeter.
Lucille was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Lucilles surviving family members include sisters Margie Connell and Beth Slater (Sisters Martha DeBeck, Dorothy Marlowe and Nancy Siarkowski preceded her in death) Daughters Tori Guzicki, Laurita Mechy, Chris Miller, Lois Dhaene and Cynthia Micinski-Kiblen; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:00am on February 11, 2018 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 519 S. Olive St, South Bend, IN, 46619. A Celebration of Life for Lucille will be held in the Spring of 2018 where she will be taken to her final resting place with her late husband Eugene at St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield.
