Madge E. Jackson March 6, 1915 - May 17, 2010 Madge E. Jackson, 95, a resident of Greenfield, formerly of Wolcott, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, May 17, 2010 at Regency Place Healthcare, Greenfield. She was born March 6, 1915 in Ripley County, Indiana and was the daughter of the late David Brandenberg and Lou Anna (Cady) Ensminger. Madge was a graduate of Holton High School in Holton, IN, a 19 year Librarian for the Wolcott Public Library, member of the Wolcott Baptist Church where she was the organist for 19 years, former choir director and Sunday school teacher. She loved music, crocheting, reading and genealogy. She is survived by sons, Maynard A. (Maureen) Jackson, Miller E. (Gracie) Jackson; daughter, Norma C. (Robert) Kahler; grandchildren, Paul Jackson, Cheryl Lenser, Michelle Carter, Cassandra Kyc, Ashley Jackson, John Kahler; great-grandchildren, Andrea, Allison, Brianne, Jessica, and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh A. Jackson in 1997; son, Roger H. Jackson; brothers, Miller and Ray Ensminger; sisters, Susan Stoops, Esta Edens, Alma Fisher and Ruth Southworth; great-grandson, Filip. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Wolcott Baptist Church, 304 W. Johnson Street, Wolcott, IN 47995 with Pastor Larry Aaron and Rev. Jan Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Lake Cemetery, Wolcott. Friends may call Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
