Marcia Ann Andry passed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, June 30th, 2025, in
Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 84 years old.
Marcia was born May 10th, 1941, to Credith "Kris" (Stitsworth) Thiesen and Louis Frank
Chapman. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia. She married her husband, Carl
Ray Andry on November 21st, 1959 in Logansport, Indiana, with whom she remained
for 63 years until his death in 2023.
Marcia never knew a stranger, and possessed a wit and a smile that no one
could deny. A devout Christian, Marcia was quick to share her love of Christ and his
teachings and lovingly spread the good word to those who would listen. She loved many
different varieties of music and was quick to sing along with her old favorites. With joy
and laughter, and quite a few games of cards at the local card club she established with
her friends, she filled her life with well-kept gardens, well-read books, and well-loved
family.
She was truly wonderful, and will be dearly missed by both of her children, Carl
Raymond (Linda) Andry and Pamela Sue (Greg) Baker-Julian; her grandchildren,
Megan Ann (Cole) Heady and Joshua Wayne Baker; her great-grandchildren, Jaxon,
Jameson, Adaline, and Lawson Baker; her step grandchildren, Brian (Jesse) Murphy
and Maria (Jacob) Suter; several step great-grandchildren; her brother Richard
(Rosemarie) Chapman; and her cousin, Rex (Pam) Stitsworth.
She goes to be reunited with her parents, Credith Thiesen and Louis Chapman; several
aunts and uncles with whom she was very close; and her loving husband of 63 years,
Carl Ray Andry. The stories they have shared and their love will be completed together
in the arms of their savior.
