Marcia Fisher

Marcia E. Fisher, age 71 of Greenfield passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Community North Heart Hospital. She was born August 11, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Rufus and Mildred (Stewart) Bridges. Marcia was a graduate of Greenfield High School and continued her education to receive her bachelors degree. She spent her career as an early elementary school teacher. Marcia was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, Morristown where she took care of decorating the church for each occasion. She looked for ways to help and bless others wanting everyone to feel loved. Marcia was a wonderful caregiver. She loved scrapbooking, bird watching and her beloved cat Gracie. More than anything, Marcia was a wonderful Grandma and enjoyed spending time spoiling her grandkids. She is survived by her husband, James Fisher of Greenfield; son, Marty (Julie) Fisher; daughter, Tiffany (Sean) Richards; and grandchildren, Abby Fisher, Drew Fisher and Megan Richards. She is preceded in death by her parents listed above and sister, Lois Hines. Friends may call 4-7 pm, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service 10 am, Friday, April 12 at the funeral home with Dr. Wayne Scott officiating. Burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
