Marcus Cutshaw November 11, 1926 - February 19, 2010
Marcus (Mark) Cutshaw, 83, a resident of Carthage, passed away February 19, 2010 in Florida.
He was born November 11, 1926 in Unicoi County, Tennessee and is the son of the late Ora and Gertha (Bishop) Cutshaw. He lived most of his life in Indiana.
He was employed for 35 years as an over the road truck driver and earned a 3 Million Mile Safe Driving Award. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, boating and spending winters in Lake Wales, Fl. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of Mystic Circle Masonic Lodge #685, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple, Moose Lodge #17, Hancock County Shrine Club and Teamsters Local 135 Retiree Club.
Surviving include his wife of 62 years, Lillian (Laughlin) Cutshaw, three daughters Cathy (Lee) Shelton, Belinda Fouch and Nancy Yeager, a granddaughter Dawn Schuyler, great grandchildren Ruth Ann and Marcus Schuyler, sister Jerlean ODell and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents listed above, brother Worley Cutshaw, granddaughter Christy Schuyler and a son-in-law Charlie Yeager.
Friends may call Friday, February 26, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the National Kidney Foundation.
