Margaret E. Runion June 6, 1916 - June 18, 2012 Margaret E. Richardson Runion age 96, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Monday June 18th, 2012 at Kearns Care in Greenfield, Indiana. She was born June 6, 1916 in Centerville, Indiana to Manford Richardson and Etta Margaret (Hannagan) Richardson. She graduated from Charlottesville High School and married Floyd N. Runion September 25, 1936 and she worked beside him as a Hancock County farmers wife. She was a member of Fountaintown Christian Church, Shelby County Western Riders, Hoosier Acres Saddle Club, Indiana Trail Riders, Indiana Pinto Horse Association, and was a leader of Hancock County 4-H horse and pony club. She was an avid quilter and loved to crochet, and loved to go camping and feed birds. She is survived by her two sons, Dean (Mary) Runion of Greenfield, and Dick (Margie) Runion of Boulder City, Nevada, her two daughters Wyneta Duncan of Greenfield and Becki (George) Meek of Columbus, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, her sister Martha Freeman, brother Tom Richardson, and half-brother Robert Kenworthy. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday June 29th at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday June 28th.
