Marilyn J. Gosney November 2, 1935 - January 8, 2010 Marilyn J. Gosney age 74 years, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Keepsake Village of Columbus in Columbus, Indiana. She was born November 2, 1935 in Rock Island, Illinois the daughter of the late Everett and Mary (Barons) Lyons. She retired in 2000 after 20 years of service from Greenfield Banking Company. She was a very active member of the Trinity Park United Methodist Church. She loved to travel and loved to be with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by a son, John (Melissa) Gosney of Columbus; two daughters, Barbara Morgan of Greenfield, Nancy (Greg) Maxwell of Greenfield; a sister Joni (Steve) Swango of KY; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard M. Gosney; two brothers, Bill and Tom Lyons and a sister Delores Cole. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, American Cancer Society or Trinity Park U.M.C.
