Marilyn Rae Malcom, 87 of Greenfield passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Brandywine Golden Living Center. She was born February 12, 1929 in Elwood, Indiana to the late Joseph Richwine and Juliette (Garrett) Richwine-Baker.
Marilyn often worked three jobs. Working in factories including Western Electric and Burma and as a self-employed housekeeper. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Greenfield. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her large family.
Marilyn loved spending time at "The Barn" listening to music and socializing with old friends. She loved flowers, travelling including to Branson, MO and fancy clothing, shoes and handbags.
She is survived by her children; Leonard Guffey, Frankie Guffey, Sue (Don) Davis, Debra (David) Hull, Teresa (Marvin) Arthur, all of Greenfield, Beverly (Phillip) Vest of New Palestine, James Jones of Greenwood, 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Raymond Baker husbands; Howard Guffey, Willie Jones and Kenneth Malcom, daughter, Janet Adams-Penry, son, Samuel Jones, brother Billie Joe Richwine and sister Alice Tucker.
Friends may call 4-8pm, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10am, Friday, February 26 at the funeral home with calling 1 hour prior to service. Burial immediately following the service at Park Cemetery.
