Marilyn V. Pettijohn

Marilyn V. Pettijohn, 93 of Greenfield passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born September 18, 1922 in Indianapolis to the late Oscar and Mary (King) Halcomb. She was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and lived in Indianapolis until moving to Greenfield in 2010. Marilyn sewed all her life and her career as a professional seamstress spanned many decades prior to her retirement in 2006. She is survived by son, Robert Pettijohn, Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, daughters, Susan Kias, Ginger Rowland both of Greenfield, Barbara Pettijohn of Decatur, IL, sisters, Jean Ormsby, Joan Bohlinger of Indianapolis, Nancy Benn of Chicago, IL, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Marilyns daughters will host a Celebration of Life Gathering 3-6 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the home of Susan Kias, 615 W. North Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
