Marion J. Roberts April 23, 1928 - January 10, 2010 Marion Jean Roberts, 81, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the Golden Living Center Brandywine, Greenfield. She was born April 23, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Albert and Johanna (Brand) Brown. Marion was Salutatorian of her graduating class at White Lake High School in Wisconsin. She worked as a computer operator for 15 years for Decorelle in Mundelein, Illinois and was also a homemaker. Marion was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cumberland, member of the Hancock County Homemakers Association; Greenfield Lions Club and loved to square dance with the Riley Wranglers. She was an avid painter, loved gardening, taking care of her flowers and was a dog lover. She is survived by sons, Bruce Roberts of Wisconsin, John E. (Jennifer) Roberts of Arnold, MD; daughters, Kathleen (David) Tuck of Fair Oaks, CA, Debra (David) Howell of Greenfield; brothers, John Calo of New Buffalo, MI, Dennis Brown of CA, Ralph Brown of CO; sister, Linda Marshall of Waukesha, WI; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Roberts, September 15, 2009 and brother, Robert Brown. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Bishop James Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, January 15, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
