Marjorie C. Walker November 21, 1919 - January 20, 2010 Marjorie C. Walker, 90 years, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born November 21, 1919 in Marion County, Indiana and is the daughter of the late Orville and Mahala (Hawkins) King. She was a 1938 graduate of Mt. Comfort High School and was a homemaker. A member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church where she was a Kindergarten Sunday School Teacher. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include, two daughters, Becky (Fred) Powers of Greenfield, Deborah Walker of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Cathy (Mark) Gibson, Heather (Harold) Seib, Holly (Theron) Carpenter, Beth (Travis) Smith, Katie Morgan, 10 great grandchildren, and her sister Gladys Carmichael of Greenfield. She was preceeded in death by her husband Emerson Eugene Walker, April 25, 1975. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield with Pastor Fred Powers and Pastor Hugh Severance officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East in Indianapolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Scholarship Fund, 3447 South State Road 9, Greenfield, IN 46140. Comments Our condolences for your loss.
