Marshall R. Lair

Marshall R. Lair, 84 of Greenfield, IN passed away on March 22, 2022 in Greenfield. He was born to the late R.J. and Retta (Troxell) Lair on October 10, 1937 in Wayne County, KY. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Linda Lair, she preceded him in death. He worked in manufacturing at Navistar for several years before retirement. Marshall enjoyed watching Nascar and John Wayne movies, working puzzles, attending church and was a big Civil War Buff. He is survived by his 3 grandchildren, Steven Roberts (Jessica Roberts), Christina Dodd (Karmen Lewis), and Amber Roberts; companion, Faye Silvers; 4 great grandchildren; his sister, Marteen Montgomery. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his 7 siblings: Wilmont Lair, Bernice Whitler, Junior Lair, John Lair, Ruby Bonke, and Lorraine York; as well as his daughters Jennifer Lair and Pamela Roberts. A graveside service for Marshall will be Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 2PM with Military Honors in Park Cemetery in Greenfield, IN.
